Guidelines for Heritage Awards

Proposed Heritage Award Guidelines

A.  The Placentia Area Historical Society may award Heritage Recognition Awards to individual or organizations for outstanding recognition. Recognition shall normally be given for activities during the previous year to when the award is given, but in special circumstances may be for an earlier or later period.

B.  The Society shall seek to give at least one award in each year but shall normally not give more than three in any one year.

C. Awards shall normally be given during the celebration of the Annual Tea Party or similar event.

D. Each recipient shall be presented with a framed document attesting to the award.
