An important contribution to education around the history of Placentia is provided by the Placentia AreaTheatre d'Heritage(PATH) . This group is a non-profit organization established in 1994.
Organizers formed a committee which in turn laid a framework for a theatre troupe. Since 1994 the troupe has presented a living interpretation of significant parts of French and English history of the Placentia Area. Visitors and locals are provided with entertainment that is culturally accurate and makes local people aware of their heritage while assisting in the support of the tourist industry of the area.
